Aguascalientes, Ags., September 10th 2023.- Perfect weekend signed by Julio Rejón and the GGG Racing Team on the 9th round of the NASCAR Mexico Series, obtaining his first victory in the main category during the “Gran Premio Aguascalientes, el Gigante de México” at the OAM.
Driver Julio Rejón could not have had a better performance this weekend at the Óvalo Aguascalientes México, starting with a great qualifying that gave him the “Pole Position” for the race scheduled for 170 laps or 100 minutes at the so called hydro-calid land.
30 minutes before 2 in the afternoon, the green flag waved to start the competition, where car No.55 Núcleo Sepec / Grupo Santana Vega / Grúas Lastra/ NRG Ingeniería Electrodoméstica/ Urlin Trucking / SALMAR Transportes de Carga / Red Wings / Lesmag Energetix / Membranas Estructuradas / Blue G Jet World / Conversa / Cartón Corrugado / Soluenergy / Complejo Industrial al Servicio del Transporte / Impulsora de Desarrollos México/ Koneqto, had total dominance by leading from lap 1 to lap 170 without letting go the first place for a moment, to take the checkered flag for his first NASCAR Mexico victory. He was accompanied on the podium by Andrés Pérez de Lara and Max Gutiérrez.

“It has been a spectacular weekend for the team, with this victory that leave us more than happy, it is without a doubt a huge opportunity to get into the fight for the Playoffs and of course being the first in the stellar category”.

The last call for a spot for the Playoffs for Julio Rejón and the GGG Racing Team will take place on September 23rd when NASCAR Mexico Series goes back to Chihuahua’s El Dorado Speedway with a new night competition.
